In the shop, we have a new, large selection of children’s books in very good condition, many are hard covers and very reasonably priced. Kittie went through her grandchildren’s books and wanted to give some other children the joy of reading them too.
We also have a basket of lids and caps – mostly for kitchenware like Pyrex dishes, sugar bowls, etc. Whenever Kittie sees a cap or lid being thrown away, she puts it in the basket instead. Each cap or lid is only $1. Even Kittie had an antique sugar bowl where the lid was broken. And she found herself a lid that fits perfectly!
Kittie also picked up a box of glass and crystal bottle stoppers. There are all sizes, some colors, some antique and some modern. If you have a bottle missing a stopper, she may have just the replacement (or improvement) you need.
There is a great tabletop containing a large selection of beads for jewelry crafters at Kittie’s. We have boxes of beads, old jewelry ready for repurposing, vintage jewelry in perfect condition (for resale if you do flea markets), books on beading and other beading supplies. Keep in mind that your granddaughters would be thrilled to get some old jewelry for playing dress-up.
Attention readers and bibliophiles!! Kittie’s has a great selection of books including newer hardcovers (some are on the PaperBackSwap wish list…), out of print and rare books, Americana, books about New Hampshire, vintage children’s books, and keep in mind we have a box of free books to peruse. All prices are reasonable.
